Uche Blessing Ochia

Uche Blessing Ochia is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) whose path to psychiatric care reflects both academic rigor and real-world resilience. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a psychiatric specialization from Walden University, building on a foundation in biological sciences that sharpens her understanding of how the body and mind intersect.

Her clinical experience is both intensive and diverse. As a registered nurse at DSH Metropolitan State Hospital ,  one of California’s largest inpatient psychiatric facilities ,  Uche developed the kind of composure and clinical judgment that only comes from working in high-acuity environments. She has since expanded her practice through Pamoja Advanced Nursing Practice, where she continues to deliver outpatient psychiatric care with a focus on evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management.

Uche specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and related conditions, approaching each client with the belief that symptom relief is only the beginning. Her goal is to help people build lasting insight, emotional balance, and confidence in their daily lives ,  not just manage their diagnosis.
